I have to dot all my i’s and cross my t’s. I have to do this, before I can do that. I have to have this, before I can do that. I have to go there, before I can do that. So what if you can’t do all the ‘I have to’s’ does it mean you can’t do the ‘that’s’.Most of the time, we have the belief that we need to do something before we can accomplish another. But when we’re in God the main prequisite is FAITH, because without FAITH it is impossible to please God, because all that come to Him must believe that He is God.
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”
Proverbs 3: 5-6, KJV
God always puts things in our heart that He wants us to accomplish, but we always have excuses. There are many of those cited in the Bible from Moses, Abraham, Sarah, Gideon, etc. These excuses hinder God from using us, because we believe that we have to be a certain kind of way or must have attained a certain qualification before we can do what God has called us to do. We don’t realise we push God away and become the god of our lives when we do this.
Would you believe in your limitations or the word of God concerning your life. I hope you’ll choose the latter. Let’s just give all we have to God , remember what Paul said, in my weakness His strength is made perfect. So how can God’s power be shown if we don’t embrace our weaknesses or limitations and trust in God.
Let us not be trapped in this idea of perfection (using ones own strength to try and achieve what we need to achieve) which hinders us from actually attaining perfection from God. It’s in being who God has created us to be, that we are perfected. Let us learn to let go, do what we’ve been called to do and allow God to perfect us. Block all the voices that say YOU CAN’T when God has told you, YOU CAN.
Rest in God and allow His purpose concerning your life to come to pass. It ‘s something I’ve struggled with but by the Grace of God I’m learning to let go and trust in God’s plans for my life.
Thanks For Stopping By!
